Salary up to £50,000 plus bonus and benefits
A leading national wealth management firm is recruiting a Trainee Financial Planner for its Newcastle office, offering a structured and supportive route from Paraplanning into Financial Advice.
This firm is widely regarded as an excellent place to build a long-term career as a Financial Adviser. The role is designed for highly technical Paraplanners who want to develop into advisers properly, with time to learn the proposition, gain exposure to clients and build confidence before being signed off.
The Role
You will initially spend a short period in Paraplanning, typically for the first couple of months, to fully embed into the business and understand the firm’s proposition, systems and approach. From there, the role will transition gradually into a more client-facing position.

-
Working closely with experienced Financial Advisers
-
Sitting in on client meetings and becoming increasingly involved in client interactions
-
Supporting the advice process, including occasional report writing
-

Progression is structured and supportive, with no pressure to move faster than you are ready for.
Training and Progression
-
Structured adviser training programme of approximately six months once ready
-
No immediate sales targets
-
Clients and leads passed down from senior advisers with full client books who focus on UHNW relationships
-
Strong and consistent source of clients once signed off, allowing you to focus on providing a first-class service
-
Gradual and sustainable build-up of your own client bank
-
Long-term career path focused on high-quality, holistic financial advice
