About the role
- As a Senior Paraplanner you will play a pivotal role in supporting Wealth Planners to deliver high‑quality holistic financial advice.
- Actively support Wealth Planners by carrying out thorough research across pensions, protection, investment management, tax planning and other financial planning areas to enable strong client outcomes.
- Prepare client‑centric suitability reports and other technical documents in line with regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards.
- Provide complex technical input and proactive support that enhances the end‑to‑end advice process.
- Undertake accurate calculations and modelling, including cash‑flow analysis, to support recommendations that align with each client’s circumstances.
- Draft clear, fair and compliant communications that support good outcomes
- Act as a reference point for technical queries within the team and support the development of junior paraplanners.
You will be considered for this role if you have:
- A minimum of Level 4 qualification (Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent)
- Strong experience working in a paraplanner capacity within a financial planning environment
- Excellent technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection and taxation
- Strong report‑writing and communication skills.
- Proactive approach to research, problem‑solving and collaboration.
- A strong compliance focus, always acting in the best interests of clients and aligned with regulatory expectations.
