Job details.

We are currently working in partnership with a highly successful boutique Financial Planning firm to recruit an experienced Paraplanner.

Our client is a well-established, fully independent practice with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality, client-focused advice. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to add an experienced Paraplanner to their close-knit team.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a one-to-one basis with a dedicated Adviser, allowing you to build a strong working relationship and become an integral part of delivering an exceptional client experience.

The client base consists predominantly of high-net-worth individuals and families, meaning you will be involved in a wide range of complex and interesting financial planning cases. You will be responsible for producing detailed suitability reports, undertaking technical research, and supporting the Adviser throughout the advice process. Full administrative support is already in place.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing high-quality suitability reports across a range of financial planning areas
  • Conducting technical research across pensions, investments, protection and wider planning areas
  • Supporting the Adviser with complex client cases from initial research through to recommendation
  • Preparing client documentation and technical analysis
  • Liaising with providers and third parties where required
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring work meets compliance standards

About You:

  • Diploma qualified in Financial Planning (minimum requirement)
  • Ideally working towards Chartered status and holding at least one Chartered exam (desirable, but not essential)
  • Previous experience working as a Paraplanner within a Financial Planning environment
  • Strong technical knowledge and a genuine interest in financial planning
  • Excellent report writing skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines
  • A proactive and organised approach

This is a fully remote position, with no requirement to attend the office.

Package:

  • Basic salary up to £50,000 (dependent on experience)
  • Bonus scheme
  • Full company benefits

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner who is looking for a fully remote position, greater autonomy, and the opportunity to work closely with an Adviser within a high-quality, client-focused firm.
