Paraplanner/Trainee Financial Planner

  • Oxfordshire, Gloucester, Oxford, Witney
  • Permanent
  • £40,000 - £50,000 + Bonus and benefits

Job details.

We are working with a well-established, fully independent boutique financial planning practice who are seeking to recruit a Paraplanner/Trainee Financial Planner. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, friendly and highly supportive team where your contribution will be valued and career progression will be actively encouraged.

The firm prides itself on providing exceptional client service and building long-term relationships. They are looking for an ambitious Paraplanner/Trainee Financial Planner who shares their commitment to service.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the company Director, gaining hands-on experience and developing the skills needed to progress into a Financial Adviser role within a relatively short timeframe.

What the role involves:

  • Shadowing the Director and learning from their wealth of experience
  • Attending client meetings, both face-to-face and via video, providing exposure to real-world advisory situations
  • Providing technical support while developing your own client-facing skills
  • Building a strong understanding of the financial planning market and regulatory environment
  • Working within a small, close-knit team alongside a dedicated administration team, allowing you to focus on learning and client work rather than routine admin

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is motivated, eager to learn and genuinely wants to move into an advisory role. The company is looking for an experienced Paraplanner (or similar) who is Diploma qualified or very close to achieving it.

What’s on offer:

  • Competitive basic salary up to £50,000 plus performance-related bonuses
  • Full study and exam support for CII qualifications
  • First-class on-the-job training and mentorship from the Director
  • A friendly, supportive, and professional working environment within a small, highly motivated team
  • A genuine career pathway into financial advice

This is a rare chance to join a boutique, fully independent firm that offers the best of both worlds: the professionalism and resources of a well-established business combined with the personal development, close team culture.

If you are ambitious, client-focused and ready to take the next step in your career, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
