Overview:
We are recruiting for a fantastic opportunity to join a leading Insurance company within their Lloyd’s Syndicate. Reporting to the Head of Underwriting Management, you’ll ensure seamless day-to-day operations in the underwriting division. Ensuring the team is working inline with growth plans and providing consistently high standards and support to senior stakeholders
Responsibilities:
- Understand and optimise underwriting operations.
- Supervise UW support team and manage the outsource team and ensure process uniformity.
- Maintain compliance with policies and regulations with FCA / PRA and Lloyd’s regulatory requirements.
- Foster best practices and handle operational challenges.
- Drive efficiency and accuracy in all operations.
- Lead team and liaise with underwriting units effectively.
- Build strong working relationships with other stakeholders in the business, Claims, Delegated Authority etc.
Requirements:
- Underwriting Operations leadership
- Strong knowledge of Lloyd’s of London regulatory requirements
- Proven leadership in achieving financial targets.
- Excellent communication and regulatory knowledge.
- Extensive experience in underwriting management.
