An exciting opportunity has arisen with a growing independent Financial Planning firm based in Alnwick, looking to appoint a Financial Planner or Level 4 qualified Trainee Financial Planner to work closely alongside the business founder.
This role would suit either:
- An early-career Financial Planner looking to continue developing their technical and client-facing skills, or
- A Level 4 qualified Trainee Adviser seeking the opportunity to gain hands-on client exposure and mentorship within a highly supportive environment.
You will work directly with an established client bank, helping to service existing relationships while supporting the continued growth of the business. This is a rare opportunity to become a key part of a small, values-led firm, with genuine long-term progression potential as the company expands.
The Opportunity
- Work closely with the founder in a highly collaborative environment
- Attend and gradually lead client meetings
- Build relationships with existing clients and assist with ongoing servicing
- Support new business enquiries and referrals
- Gain exposure to all aspects of running and growing an independent Financial Planning business

What They’re Looking For
- Level 4 Diploma qualified (essential)
- Experience within Financial Planning, whether as an Adviser or in a support/training capacity
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
