Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management: Proficiently input new risks into our underwriting system and manage agreed endorsements.
  • Broker Relations: Establish and maintain effective communication with insurance brokers to obtain renewal and new business information.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate seamlessly with internal departments, including actuaries and exposure management, ensuring a cohesive approach to underwriting.
  • Audit Support: Play a key role in assisting with both internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and transparency.
  • Document Production: Skillfully create underwriting rating documents by processing information from broker submissions.
  • Account Resolution: Address and resolve inquiries related to insurance accounts, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Workflow Management: Efficiently manage administrative tasks within the underwriting team, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
  • Ad Hoc Support: Be prepared to take on additional responsibilities as required by the team.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Educational Proficiency: Graduate or A Level calibre or equivalent educational background.
  • Technological Acumen: Possess excellent IT skills and strong communication abilities.
  • Organisational Proficiency: Demonstrated capacity for organisation, precision, and time management.
  • Team Player: A collaborative and cooperative approach to working within a team.
