Trainee Financial Planning Administrator - Bolton

up to £22,000 plus company benefits, negotiable depending on experience

MBF Recruitment are currently working with a Chartered Financial Planning organisation who who we have had a trusted relationship with for many years. They are looking to recruit a Trainee Financial Planning Administrator for their team in Bolton.

This is a fantastic, entry level opportunity to start a career in the financial planning sector, working for a company who have had success in developing and progressing talented individuals within their team.

The role:

  • Meeting and greeting visitors
  • Answering incoming telephone calls and taking messages where appropriate
  • Filing and keeping the front office and meeting rooms presentable and tidy
  • Opening, recording and distributing incoming post, franking and posting outgoing mail
  • Arranging appointments for Advisers
  • Uploading client data to the back-office system, this will mainly be from statements & fact finds
  • Monitoring and ordering stationery as required
  • Matching commission payments in the back-office system
  • Training can be provided on all of the above


  • Candidates should ideally be looking for their first or second opportunity to work in financial services
  • Those with 3-12 months experience of working in an office environment would be preferred, but Graduates fresh out of university will also be considered
  • Candidates MUST have a keen interest in financial services, ideally with knowledge of the financial planning or wealth management sector
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ideally candidates will be Graduates, though a strong educational background without a Degree will also be considered
