T&C Manager – Financial Planning
Location: Nottingham (with regional travel)
Salary: £55,000 to £70,000 + benefits

A growing national wealth management firm is looking to appoint a T&C Manager to support and develop its Financial Planning team across the North and Midlands. This is a key hire within an expanding business, offering the opportunity to work closely with advisers and play a visible role in improving advice quality and performance.

You will be one of three T&C Managers in the business, collectively supporting a population of around 200 advisers. This particular role will be aligned to offices across Manchester, Newcastle, Chester and Nottingham, with regular travel required to build strong, on-the-ground relationships.

This is a people-focused role suited to someone who understands financial planning in practice and enjoys working closely with advisers to support, challenge and develop them.

The Role
You will work closely with Financial Planners on a day-to-day basis, helping to enhance competence, improve advice standards and drive consistent client outcomes. The role is highly visible and involves regular face-to-face interaction across multiple offices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coaching, supervising and developing Financial Planners
  • Assessing advice quality and supporting improvements in suitability and client outcomes
  • Delivering targeted training programmes based on individual and team needs
  • Conducting regular 1:1 meetings and maintaining clear supervisory records
  • Using MI, KPIs and risk indicators to identify trends and development areas
  • Supporting onboarding and early-stage development of new advisers
  • Working collaboratively with senior stakeholders across Advice, Compliance and Operations

The Business
This organisation is experiencing strong growth, having completed multiple acquisitions in recent years with further expansion planned. As a result, there is a continuous flow of new advisers joining the business, alongside a clear long-term strategy focused on succession planning and developing the next generation of Financial Planners.

This growth creates a dynamic environment where T&C plays a central role in maintaining standards and supporting adviser development.

About You

  • Experience as a Financial Planner or strong practical knowledge of the advice process
  • Previous experience in a T&C, supervisory or coaching capacity
  • Level 4 Diploma qualified (or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of financial products, services and regulation
  • Confident communicator with the ability to challenge constructively
  • Comfortable with regular travel across regional offices
  • Proactive, engaging and relationship-driven approach

What’s on Offer

  • Salary between £55,000 and £70,000 depending on experience
  • Hybrid and flexible working environment with autonomy over your schedule
  • Strong benefits package including pension, private medical and income protection
  • Opportunity to join a growing business with clear progression potential

If you are looking for a role where you can have real influence, work closely with advisers and be part of a growing, evolving business, this could be an excellent next step.
