Role Overview:

As a Financial Strategy Technical Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of financial advice and service delivery within our clients Client Advice team. This position involves providing specialised technical support and ensuring even the most complex cases are handled with precision and excellence. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of the companies advice processes and knowledge base by staying updated on legislative changes and industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Wealth Advisers (WA’s) in developing high-quality financial strategies aligned with clients' goals.
  • Collaborate with WA’s and compliance teams to ensure regulatory compliance and industry best practices.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, product developments, and best practices.
  • Support the team in client meetings, addressing inquiries and offering clarification on recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation while mentoring other team members.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures within the company.

Requirements/Technical Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a paraplanning or technical specialist role within the UK financial planning industry.
  • Deep understanding of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory requirements.
  • Chartered Financial Planner status (Level 6) from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and completion of specified CII exams.
