- Excellent opportunity to work in a established Reinsurance Team, assisting with the oversight of the syndicates’ reinsurance portfolios and the day-to-day administration of their reinsurance operations.
- You will be expected to learn quickly, provide assistance across all team activities and, in time, take ownership of syndicate reinsurance operations which will stretch your skills and experience.
- Assist in the interpretation and challenge of reinsurance contracts. The role is reliant on accurate and timely contractual data entry to, and maintenance of, the RI database XLPro.
- Assist in the production of external regulatory returns
- Assist in the production of all internal reinsurance MI, including exposure and asset monitoring, along with Board, Actuarial and Finance reporting information, as required.
- Assist in the maintenance of ledgers which are a key foundation of RI Data reporting
- Provide key support for administrative transactions that can including monitoring of reinsurance recoveries, claims, LORS entries, non-cash transactions and premium income adjustments.
To be successful in this role you will need to possess the following;
- Around 1 years’ experience in the Lloyd's market
- Good understanding of Lloyd’s Market reinsurance practices, including LORS.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office (or similar) programs, in particular Excel.
- Previous experience of providing administrative support in an office environment or similar.
- Understanding of reinsurance contract wordings and related paperwork or similar.
- Willing to become a RI expert
