The role will encompass all aspects of people management, including mentoring, support, training, and recruitment to the team. You will be responsible for managing a team of Administrators and Paraplanners to deliver an exceptional level of service to financial planners and clients.
The ideal candidate could be an accomplished Practice Manager from a reputable Financial Service firm, a seasoned Senior Paraplanner aspiring to step into a management role, or a compliance specialist with a proven track record in workload/team management. Possessing strong numeracy skills, exceptional communication abilities, and extensive management experience, you'll be seeking an opportunity to join a dynamic and ambitious team within a growing Independent Financial Advice firm.
The Role:
- Directing day-to-day operations, collaborating with financial planners to address business requirements promptly.
- Ensuring timely completion of all assigned tasks.
- Prioritizing work queues to meet deadlines effectively.
- Offering objective and constructive feedback to facilitate staff development, promptly addressing any performance issues.
- Monitoring staff work and identifying training requirements to enhance accuracy and promote a quality-assured service approach.
- Conducting regular team meetings.
- Conducting individual performance reviews.
Educational Background, Qualifications & Training:
- Minimum of three years of experience in financial services.
- Possession of financial services qualifications is advantageous.
- Completion of probation entails passing a series of brief tests on compliance, money laundering awareness, and fundamental knowledge.
