Power BI Developer - Insurance / SQL / Power BI / SSIS / SSRS

Are you a skilled Power BI Developer looking to make a meaningful impact in the realm of Business Intelligence? One of our leading InsurTech clients is looking for a new team member to join a growing team.

Role Overview

As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing and improving our reporting systems, ensuring that information is accessible to various stakeholders and clients. Your extensive experience in Business Intelligence development and analysis will be pivotal in delivering high-quality reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Business Intelligence reports.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline reporting processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in BI/SQL Development and MI Analysis.
  • Expertise in T-SQL, Power BI, Microsoft SSIS, and Microsoft SSRS.
  • Familiarity with design and architectural patterns, Agile methodologies, and distributed source control systems (Git, Mercurial).
  • Snowflake experience is a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Effective communicator across teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on quality and mentoring junior team members.
  • Ability to manage priorities and navigate ambiguity.

Bonus: Familiarity with insurance terminology is desirable but not essential.
