We are seeking an experienced Technical Paraplanner to join a forward-thinking, award-winning wealth management practice. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly professional, client-focused team and play a key role in delivering exceptional financial planning services.

The Role
As a Technical Paraplanner, you will provide comprehensive support to financial consultants, ensuring all client interactions and recommendations are accurately prepared, compliant, and delivered to the highest standard. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Preparing compliant suitability reports and detailed financial plans based on consultant recommendations
  • Supporting consultants ahead of client meetings
  • Assisting with client annual reviews and post-meeting follow-up
  • Conducting technical research and analysing client data
  • Investing client funds in line with consultant recommendations
  • Identifying investment and tax-saving opportunities for clients
  • Liaising closely with the service team and managing your own workload efficiently
  • Evaluating investment portfolios alongside consultants

Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required

  • Diploma-qualified (Level 4) in financial planning
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical paraplanner role
  • Strong knowledge of IT, MS Word & Excel, and experience with back-office financial systems
  • Excellent telephone manner and client-facing skills
  • Flexible approach and ability to work under pressure to deadlines
  • High organisational skills and strong interpersonal attributes
