Administrator – Financial Services

  • Bristol
  • Permanent
  • £27,000- £35,000 + Bonus and company benefits

Job details.

We are working with a highly successful and rapidly growing financial services business to recruit an additional Financial Services Administrator to join their Bristol team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator with a background in financial services, particularly those with experience across pensions, investments, platforms, providers or financial products, who are looking to develop their career within a successful and expanding organisation.

The business has experienced significant growth in recent years and has ambitious plans for further expansion. Despite its growing national presence, it maintains a strong focus on local teams, collaboration and delivering an excellent experience for clients.

The Role

The successful candidate will join a small, supportive administration team and work closely with Advisers, Paraplanners and colleagues across the wider business.

The role will provide broad exposure to financial services administration, supporting the processing of client business and ongoing servicing requirements. Responsibilities will include:

  • Processing financial services administration across pensions, investments and other financial products
  • Using provider and platform systems to process transactions and client instructions
  • Processing new business and top-up applications
  • Processing fund switches, purchases, sales and income withdrawal requests
  • Processing Letters of Authority and obtaining information from providers
  • Supporting advisers with client meeting preparation and collating relevant information
  • Preparing client reports, review packs and supporting documentation
  • Maintaining accurate client records and updating internal systems
  • Supporting ongoing client servicing and administration
  • Assisting with wider administrative projects and supporting colleagues during busy periods

About You

This role is particularly suited to someone with previous financial services administration experience, rather than requiring a specific background within IFA or financial planning.

Relevant experience could include working within pensions, investments, wealth management, platforms, insurance, banking or other areas of financial services.

Strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage and prioritise your workload are essential. You will also need to be confident communicating with clients, providers and colleagues and be comfortable learning new systems and processes.

Package

  • Salary up to £35,000
  • Hybrid working – minimum 2 day a week in the office
  • Strong holiday entitlement + birthday off
  • Opportunity to purchase additional annual leave
  • Good pension contributions
  • Private medical insurance
  • Life assurance x4
  • Income protection
  • Full support with professional exams and relevant training
  • A number of additional company benefits

The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for a Financial Services Administrator looking to join a growing organisation where they can build on their existing industry experience, develop new skills and establish a long-term career.

The role offers the opportunity to gain wider exposure across financial services while working within a supportive team and benefiting from the resources, career opportunities and stability of a growing national business.
