  • £25,000 - £32,000 + bonus and company benefits

Job details.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an IFA Administrator to join a highly regarded, Chartered financial planning and wealth management practice based in Bradford-on-Avon.

This is a business that has built its reputation around delivering high-quality, genuinely client-focused financial planning, supported by a team that takes real pride in the service it provides.

The firm places just as much value on its support team as it does its advisers and is committed to providing the training, development and support needed for people to build long-term careers within the business.

The Role

As an IFA Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the firm's advisers and paraplanners, ensuring client work is progressed efficiently, accurately and to a high standard.

You'll become an integral part of the team, managing a varied workload and helping to deliver an excellent client experience from initial application through to ongoing servicing.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing new business across pensions, investments and protection, from initial submission through to completion
  • Preparing client valuations, portfolio reports, review packs and other documentation for adviser meetings
  • Liaising with providers and platforms to obtain information, chase outstanding requirements and progress cases
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed client records on the firm's back-office system
  • Handling client queries by telephone and email, providing a professional and personable service
  • Supporting advisers and paraplanners with the day-to-day management of client cases
  • Ensuring client files and administrative processes meet FCA and internal compliance requirements
  • Assisting with general team and office administration where required

About You

We're looking for someone with previous experience within an IFA, financial planning or wealth management environment who understands the importance of providing high-quality administrative support.

You'll ideally have a good working knowledge of pensions, investments and protection and be comfortable dealing with providers, platforms, advisers and clients.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, commercially aware and exceptionally attentive to detail. You'll take pride in producing accurate work and will be someone who naturally takes ownership of your responsibilities and follows tasks through to completion.

You'll also be a confident and professional communicator, comfortable building relationships with clients and working closely with advisers and paraplanners.

Experience using financial planning, back-office or platform systems would be beneficial, alongside a good level of general IT literacy.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and highly regarded financial planning business where your contribution will genuinely be valued.

You'll be joining a professional and supportive environment, working alongside experienced advisers and paraplanners while having the opportunity to broaden your technical knowledge and develop your career within financial planning.

For an experienced IFA Administrator looking for a role with a quality firm that genuinely invests in its people, this represents an excellent long-term career opportunity.
