Senior Financial Planning Administrator
Chorley | £30,000 to £35,000 guide | Hybrid
If you enjoy being the person Advisers and colleagues turn to when a case needs sorting, this could be a good next step. You would still be close to the day-to-day work of financial planning, while having the opportunity to share what you know and help less experienced colleagues develop.
I’m working with an established, growing independent financial planning business in Chorley to recruit an experienced member of its Adviser Support team. This is a senior position within the client relations function, supporting Advisers and clients while helping the wider team maintain a consistently high standard of service.
The business has grown across the North West and offers the support and resources of a wider group alongside a local team. It takes a collaborative approach to financial planning and places real value on the people who make the client experience work behind the scenes.
What you would be doing
- Supporting Advisers and clients across the advice and administration process, including work with multiple provider platforms.
- Helping colleagues resolve more complex queries and keeping work moving against agreed deadlines.
- Checking the quality of client records and helping the team maintain accurate CRM data.
- Training, mentoring and supporting newer or less experienced colleagues, sharing knowledge across the team.
- Working with the Client Relations Supervisor and Manager to identify training needs and improve the way the team operates.
About You:
You will have worked in an IFA or financial planning environment and understand what good Adviser support looks like in practice. Ideally you will hold a relevant Level 3 or Level 4 qualification, although strong experience and equivalent professional development will also be considered. Just as important is an interest in helping colleagues grow, alongside the judgement and attention to detail needed to handle client work well.
Package:
£30,000 to £35,000 as a guide, depending on experience; hybrid working; 28 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to buy five more days; 4% employer pension contribution; life cover at four times salary; and a sick pay scheme.
