Paraplanner Team Leader

  • Bristol
  • Permanent
  • £55,000 - £65,000 + bonus, benefits and hybrid working

Job details.

We are working with a growing and highly successful financial planning business that is looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanning Team Leader to lead and develop their technical team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner who has progressed into a team leader, mentoring or management position and is looking for a role with genuine responsibility for people, performance and technical quality.

The role

You will lead a team of approximately 16 Paraplanners across multiple locations, with the majority based in Bristol. You will be responsible for coaching and developing the team, managing workloads and ensuring high standards of quality and service are maintained.

Importantly, this is a hands-on leadership role, so a strong Paraplanning background is essential. You will be expected to provide technical guidance and step in to support the team with Paraplanning when required, including during periods of annual leave and sickness.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, coaching and developing a team of Paraplanners
  • Managing workloads, capacity and resource
  • Providing technical support and guidance
  • Overseeing quality and ensuring high standards are maintained
  • Supporting more complex Paraplanning work when required
  • Working closely with Financial Planners and wider teams
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working

We are looking for:

  • Strong previous Paraplanning experience
  • Experience mentoring, leading or managing a team
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial planning
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive approach with strong attention to detail
  • Ideally, Level 4 financial planning qualifications or equivalent

What's on offer?

  • Salary up to £65,000
  • Hybrid working from Bristol
  • Discretionary bonus
  • Excellent benefits package
  • Excellent opportunities for development and progression

If you are an experienced Paraplanner with leadership or management experience and are looking for your next step, I would be very interested in speaking with you confidentially about this opportunity.
