Job details.

Paraplanner – Financial Planning Firm (Near Coventry)
Salary: Up to £47,000 (potentially up to £50,000 for Chartered / highly experienced candidates)
Location: Meriden, near Coventry
Working pattern: Primarily office based with flexibility to work from home 1 day per week

An established and highly regarded firm of Independent Financial Advisers, based near Coventry, is seeking a talented and experienced Paraplanner to join their small, close-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded career Paraplanner who takes pride in producing high-quality, detailed work and enjoys being part of a collaborative environment where their contribution is genuinely valued.

The Role

Working closely with the Advisers, you’ll be responsible for delivering robust technical and administrative support, ensuring clients receive a thorough and compliant financial planning service. Your role will include:

  • Researching and analysing financial products and investment strategies

  • Preparing suitability reports and technical documentation

  • Undertaking cashflow modelling and scenario analysis

  • Maintaining client records and ensuring compliance standards are met

  • Supporting colleagues with technical queries and contributing to process improvements

About You

You will have proven experience in a Paraplanning role within a financial planning or wealth management firm, with a strong understanding of pensions, investments, and tax planning. Ideally, you’ll hold or be working towards the Level 4 Diploma, and Chartered status would be highly advantageous.

This position is best suited to someone who sees Paraplanning as their long-term career path – a professional who values technical excellence, attention to detail, and being part of a supportive, adviser-focused team rather than moving into an advice role in the near future.

Development & Benefits

  • Salary up to £47,000 (potentially £50,000 for Chartered candidates)

  • Hybrid working – 1 day per week from home

  • Support for further professional qualifications

  • Collaborative, close-knit working environment

  • Genuine scope to develop your skills and technical expertise

If you’re a dedicated, detail-oriented Paraplanner seeking a stable and rewarding role within a friendly and professional firm, we’d love to hear from you.
