Location: Newcastle – Hybrid
Salary: Up to £47,000 per annum, plus bonus and benefits
We’re currently seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a prestigious Wealth & Investment Management firm with a strong presence across the UK. Our client, based in Newcastle, is seeking a dynamic and talented individual to join their team. Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning Support: Provide essential support to the financial advisors in the development and implementation of financial plans for clients.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis of financial products and market trends to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available for client recommendations.
- Report Preparation: Prepare detailed and comprehensive financial planning reports, ensuring clarity and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Client Interaction: Engage with clients to gather necessary information and address queries related to financial plans.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of industry regulations and compliance standards, ensuring all activities align with the relevant guidelines.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paraplanner within the financial services sector.
- Qualifications: You should hold your Diploma in Financial Planning and ideally be working towards Chartered status.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using financial planning software and tools. Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to clients.
- Team Player: Collaborative approach to working within a team environment.
- Career Aspiration: Willingness to commit to the role of Paraplanner for up to 3 years with the opportunity for progression into advisory roles thereafter for those who are looking for that move
