Role Overview
As an experienced Paraplanner, you will play a key role in supporting the financial planners and advisers with the preparation of detailed financial reports, client reviews, research, and ongoing client service.
This is a flexible role, allowing you to work remotely from the comfort of your home, with the requirement to attend team meetings in the London office approximately once a quarter.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain client financial plans, ensuring they meet the clients’ objectives and are aligned with regulatory requirements
- Conduct research on investment solutions, pensions, tax planning, and other financial strategies
- Produce detailed, clear, and comprehensive suitability reports for advisers
- Manage the implementation of recommendations and monitor client portfolios
- Work closely with the client-facing team to ensure seamless delivery of service
- Stay up to date with financial regulations, tax changes, and market trends
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Paraplanner
- Strong knowledge of financial products and services, including pensions, investments, estate planning, and tax strategies
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
- Excellent technical, analytical, and report-writing skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work remotely, with occasional travel to London for team meetings - must be within a reasonable commute.
