Mbf are working closely with a national, chartered and fully independent financial planning practice to recruit an experienced Paraplanner to join their growing team.

The Role

As a Paraplanner, you’ll work closely with a team of highly successful Financial Planners, providing technical and research support across all areas of financial advice including investments, pensions, protection, and tax planning. You’ll play an integral part in the advice process and will enjoy regular client contact, helping to deliver an exceptional service and first-class outcomes.

You’ll be joining a collaborative, supportive team where your input is valued and your professional growth is encouraged.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Financial Planners in preparing and delivering high-quality financial advice.
  • Conduct research and produce detailed suitability reports.
  • Liaise directly with clients to gather information and ensure a seamless advice journey.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of financial planning principles and FCA regulations.
  • Work as part of a cohesive team committed to providing exceptional client service.

About You:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA or wealth management environment.
  • Ideally Diploma qualified (Level 4) or working towards completion.
  • Strong technical knowledge across investments, pensions, and protection.
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence liaising with both advisers and clients.
  • Proactive, organised, and detail-focused with a genuine passion for financial planning.

  • Competitive basic salary up to £47,000 (depending on experience).
  • Hybrid working model – typically 2 days in the office.
