Junior Paraplanner

  • Bradford-on-Avon
  • Permanent
  • £35,000 - £42,000 + Bonus and benefits

Job details.

An established and forward-thinking boutique independent financial planning firm is looking to appoint a Junior Paraplanner to join their close-knit and growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the early stages of their Paraplanning career to gain exposure to a high-calibre client base and be part of a firm offering long-term development and progression.

The business provides holistic financial planning to a long-standing portfolio of HNW and UHNW clients. Currently boutique in size, the firm is entering a phase of strategic growth and modernisation, with ambitious plans to double its assets under management in the coming years. This role offers the chance to be part of that journey and grow alongside the business.

The Opportunity
This position would suit someone who has already begun their Paraplanning journey — either currently in a Junior Paraplanner role or in an Administrator role with demonstrable experience supporting the advice process and progressing through the RO exams. You will work closely with a Chartered Financial Planner and the wider advice team, with full support to continue your professional development and grow into a fully-fledged Paraplanner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of suitability reports and financial planning recommendations
  • Conduct product and fund research to support the advice process
  • Help compile technical documentation and ensure compliance requirements are met
  • Liaise with clients, providers, and colleagues to ensure smooth workflow
  • Develop your technical knowledge and Paraplanning skills under expert guidance

What’s on offer:

  • Basic salary up to £42,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
  • Full support for market exams and ongoing professional development
  • Tailored training and mentoring within a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Clear route to progression within a growing, modernising business
  • Opportunity to work with HNW/UHNW clients and gain meaningful client exposure

This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Paraplanner or Paraplanner looking to advance their career within a highly respected, people-focused firm.
