This role can be based from any of the businesses UK offices with hybrid working available.

Job Description:

As the Retiring Investment Manager Oversight Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the Oversight of Risk & Control for RIFA and RIM Acquisitions. Reporting directly to the Head of New Business Oversight Financial Services, you'll be responsible for managing the Investment Management Aspects of acquired businesses within the Financial Services 1st Line of Defence (1LoD) Front Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a deep understanding of Investment Management (IM) propositions and their workings.
  • Design, improve, and execute the due diligence process related to IM aspects of acquisitions.
  • Develop integration plans for IM aspects of acquisitions.
  • Collaborate closely with core 2LoD functions, particularly Compliance, to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Represent the function at a senior level when required.
  • Generate high-quality MI and seek process efficiencies.
  • Take charge of the IM due diligence process, ensuring consistency and accuracy.

General Oversight Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of Oversight-related initiatives, projects, and tasks.
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and support activities across the Financial Services Front Office Oversight function.
  • Lead, support, facilitate, and provide input as appropriate to Front Office and Oversight activities.
  • Engage in steering groups and initiatives as needed.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in monitoring and oversight within a Financial Services organization OR 3+ years of experience as an Investment Manager.
  • 3+ years of report writing and presentation skills.
