IFA Administrator (Remote – Permanent)

Salary: £25,480 per annum (FTE) / £14.00 per hour
Hours: 28 or 35 hours per week (flexible)
Location: 100% Home Based

We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist outsourced provider of IFA administration services who are seeking an experienced IFA Administrator to join their growing remote team.

This is a fully remote, permanent position offering excellent flexibility, stability, and the opportunity to work with a well-established firm that provides professional outsourced support to financial advisers and planners across the UK.

About the Role:

As an IFA Administrator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative support to financial advisers and paraplanners, ensuring a seamless and compliant client experience. You’ll work across a variety of financial platforms, manage end-to-end client servicing tasks, and play a key role in the delivery of outsourced administration support to adviser firms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to IFAs and paraplanners.

  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation using Intelligent Office (iO).

  • Process new business applications and track them through to completion across multiple platforms.

  • Liaise with clients and product providers to obtain policy details, valuations, and updates.

  • Ensure all client files and records meet compliance and audit standards.

  • Assist with client meeting preparation and follow-up actions.

About You:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an IFA Administrator or similar role.

  • Experience using Intelligent Office and a variety of investment and pension platforms.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of the financial planning process.

  • Confident communicator who is proactive, organised, and self-motivated.

  • Comfortable working remotely as part of a supportive virtual team.

Contract & Benefits:

  • Employer: Specialist outsourced IFA administration services provider

  • 100% home-based role

  • Salary: £25,480 per annum FTE / £14.00 per hour (paid monthly)

  • Hours: Fixed contract – either 28 or 35 hours per week, with flexibility around working hours to suit your lifestyle

  • Pension: Auto-enrolment with standard contributions, enhanced by an additional 2% after 1 year of service

  • Holiday: 5.6 weeks per year (pro rata)

  • Death in Service scheme

  • Exam support: Assistance with study leave and exam costs
