Job Description:

They are seeking to recruit and accomplished and dynamic Financial Planning Business Manager who will play a crucial role in leading, motivating, and fostering collaboration among a team of experienced financial planners. This pivotal position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of the business and contribute to the growth of assets under management (AUM). The successful candidate will be expected to provide leadership and innovative business creation ideas to help existing Advisers further grow their books of business as well as helping the business achieve their ambitious year-on-year growth targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and manage a substantial team of seasoned financial planners, ensuring the delivery of outstanding financial advisory services.
  • Business Development: Cultivate, develop, and share groundbreaking concepts for business creation and expansion, nurturing a culture of growth within the team.
  • Client Support: Assist in the formulation and presentation of professional and private client pitches, ensuring alignment with client needs and objectives.
  • Performance Metrics: Be responsible for meeting and exceeding year-on-year AUM growth targets, driving the team's performance.
  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute strategic plans for business development and AUM growth.
  • Compliance: Ensure all business activities adhere to relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Relationship Management: Forge and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to enhance opportunities for business growth.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in leadership and team management within the financial advice sector.
  • Substantial background in financial planning, investment management, or a related field.
  • Strong aptitude for business development and a track record of successful business growth.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Profound knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and financial regulations.
  • Diploma in Financial Planning, ideally working towards Chartered
