Financial Planner – Kent

£60,000 – £90,000 + Bonus | Excellent Progression

An established and award-winning professional services firm is looking to appoint an experienced Financial Planner to join their growing Wealth Management team in Kent.

This is a particularly compelling opportunity for an adviser who enjoys the business development side of the role, with the added benefit of operating within a wider professional services environment. You’ll work closely with tax, audit, and corporate finance teams, providing access to a strong internal referral network and enabling the delivery of truly holistic financial planning.

The Role

This position combines an element of inherited clients with a strong focus on building and growing your own client bank. You’ll generate new business through networking, referrals, and by developing relationships both internally and externally.

You’ll provide holistic financial advice across pensions, investments, retirement planning, estate planning, and tax-efficient strategies, managing the full client journey from initial fact-find through to ongoing reviews.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow a client bank through new business generation
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders to maximise referral opportunities
  • Deliver holistic financial planning advice across a broad range of areas
  • Manage end-to-end client relationships, ensuring high-quality outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with FCA regulations and industry best practice

What’s on Offer

  • Salary: £60,000 – £90,000 (potentially higher for Chartered advisers)
  • Bonus: Discretionary
  • Progression: Clear career development within a growing national firm
  • Support: Full paraplanning, administrative, and compliance support
  • Development: Ongoing study support and professional development

What They’re Looking For

  • Level 4 Diploma qualified (essential), ideally working towards Chartered status
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, and tax planning
  • Proven experience in a client-facing Financial Planner role
  • A commercial mindset with a track record of generating new business
  • Ability to build relationships and operate effectively within a professional services environment

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Financial Planner to join a highly reputable firm offering both the infrastructure and autonomy to build a successful and sustainable client base.
