We are currently recruiting for a Financial Planner to join a leading global Wealth Management firm with offices in Canary Wharf. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with three days in the office and two days from home each week.
The firm is a global leader in wealth management, managing over £200B in assets under management. They provide personalised portfolio management services primarily to high-net-worth individuals, institutions, and pension funds. The firm is renowned for its active, top-down investment strategy that emphasises global diversification and macroeconomic trends. Operating on a fee-only basis, the firm charges a percentage of assets under management.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing financial advice across a broad range of topics:
- Pensions and Retirement Planning, including pension contributions, carry forward, lifetime allowance (LTA) planning, and drawdown advice
- Inheritance tax and Estate Planning
- Tax-efficient cash flow strategies using cash-flow analyses
- Investment Optimization by reviewing the suitability of investment wrappers
- Deliver advice to clients via phone and in writing, with some face-to-face meetings as required
Candidate Requirements:
- Level 4 qualified – Diploma in Financial Planning/Regulated Financial Planning
- Level 6/Chartered status would be advantageous but not essential
- A genuine desire to provide a high standard of advice and service to clients
- 4+ years of experience as a Financial Planner
Package:
- Base salary up to £70,000
- Discretionary bonuses based on performance
