Financial Controls Analyst - P&C Insurance
Core Responsibilities:
The role is a key position reporting directly to the Finance Controller:
• Design, implement, and maintain financial control frameworks to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive financial control packs, ensuring all financial activities and transactions comply with established control requirements and standards
• Continuously assess and monitor the effectiveness of financial controls, recommending improvements where necessary to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to established guidelines.
• Liaise with external auditors to coordinate audits, respond to audit queries, and provide necessary documentation to ensure smooth audit processes.
• Manage and respond to ad hoc financial queries and requests from the CFO and Deputy CFO, providing timely and accurate information as needed.
Experience:
• Proven experience in Insurance Accounting, finance control, auditing, or compliance roles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with auditors, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify areas for control improvement and risk mitigation.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
