We are currently working on behalf of a well-established, fully independent financial planning practice that is seeking to appoint an experienced Financial Planner to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a small to medium-sized firm that has achieved consistent organic growth over recent years and has ambitious plans for the future. The business prides itself on delivering high-quality, client-centric advice and maintaining long-term relationships.

The Role:
You will take responsibility for an existing and well-maintained client portfolio of approximately £35M AUM. Clients are based primarily in Reading and the surrounding areas, providing a strong foundation from which to develop and grow further relationships.

You will provide holistic, independent financial advice across pensions, investments and protection, ensuring clients receive tailored solutions aligned to their financial objectives.

Support & Infrastructure:
You will be fully supported by an experienced team of Paraplanners and IFA Administrators, allowing you to focus on client relationships and advice delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop an existing portfolio of clients
  • Provide comprehensive, independent financial planning advice
  • Conduct client reviews and maintain strong ongoing relationships
  • Identify opportunities for organic growth within the client base
  • Work collaboratively with internal support teams

Requirements:

  • Diploma qualified (Level 4 minimum)
  • Proven experience in a client-facing financial planning role
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills
  • Ability to deliver holistic, independent advice
  • Ambition to contribute to a growing and forward-thinking firm
