We are working with a leading financial services organisation to recruit a Data/IT Administrator. Our client is an award-winning business that have grown substantially over the past few years, they now have the requirement for an additional Data Administrator to join their IT function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete monthly IT security checks following reports from the IT provider.
  • Ensure all line managers are notified of security requirements and follow up on any outstanding training.
  • Conduct monthly reviews of system licenses to ensure access is restricted to active staff only.
  • Input new starters and grant necessary access to software and cloud-based systems.
  • Update the company intranet with new documents and changes as requested by various departments and approved by the Systems Analyst.
  • Ensure system data is accurate and up-to-date, identifying and correcting areas that need cleansing.
  • Provide day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting for a variety of internal systems.
  • Assist the Systems Analyst in testing new process and policy documentation to support evolving company needs.
  • Help maintain master lists for company hardware, software licenses, and access rights.
  • Ensure system and IT documents and policies are current and amend them as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a financial services or comparable industry.
  • Strong understanding of IT security principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in managing system licenses and user access.
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong data management capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with different departments.
  • Ability to work proactively and independently as well as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based systems and office technology infrastructure.
