Experienced Technical Paraplanner – Hybrid Role (Sutton Coldfield / West Midlands)
Are you an experienced Paraplanner looking to join a highly regarded financial planning firm? Our client, a well-established firm of Chartered Financial Planners with over 20 years of excellence in the West Midlands, is seeking a skilled and proactive Paraplanner to join their team.
About the Role
As a Paraplanner, you will play a key role in supporting the firm’s advisers, delivering high-quality technical financial planning work for high-net-worth individuals and families. This is a hands-on, experienced-level role, ideal for someone with 5+ years of paraplanning experience, ideally chartered, who can hit the ground running. You will need minimal training on technical matters – your focus will be on learning the firm’s systems and approach.
Key Responsibilities:

Preparing technical financial planning reports, recommendations, and illustrations across a range of areas including investments, retirement planning, protection, and estate planning.

Collaborating closely with advisers to ensure accurate and timely client work.

Conducting research and analysis to support comprehensive, holistic financial planning.

Maintaining excellent documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Supporting ongoing client relationships through proactive administrative and technical support.
What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Paraplanner within financial planning.

Chartered or working toward chartered status is highly desirable.

Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection, and estate planning.

Ability to work independently, manage workload efficiently, and provide first-class support to advisers.

Professional, proactive, and client-focused approach.
