Are you an experienced Paraplanner looking to join a highly regarded financial planning firm? Our client, a well-established firm of Chartered Financial Planners with over 20 years of excellence in the West Midlands, is seeking a skilled and proactive Paraplanner to join their team.

About the Role
As a Paraplanner, you will play a key role in supporting the firm’s advisers, delivering high-quality technical financial planning work for high-net-worth individuals and families. This is a hands-on, experienced-level role, ideal for someone with 5+ years of paraplanning experience, ideally chartered, who can hit the ground running. You will need minimal training on technical matters – your focus will be on learning the firm’s systems and approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing technical financial planning reports, recommendations, and illustrations across a range of areas including investments, retirement planning, protection, and estate planning.

  • Collaborating closely with advisers to ensure accurate and timely client work.

  • Conducting research and analysis to support comprehensive, holistic financial planning.

  • Maintaining excellent documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Supporting ongoing client relationships through proactive administrative and technical support.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Paraplanner within financial planning.

  • Chartered or working toward chartered status is highly desirable.

  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection, and estate planning.

  • Ability to work independently, manage workload efficiently, and provide first-class support to advisers.

  • Professional, proactive, and client-focused approach.

What’s on Offer:

  • Competitive salary of up to £60,000, dependent on experience and qualifications.

  • Hybrid working: 3 days in the office (Sutton Coldfield) and 2 days from home per week.

  • Flexible or reduced hours considered on a case-by-case basis.

  • Opportunity to join a highly experienced, friendly team with a reputation for excellence in client service.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner to step into a role where they can make an immediate impact and work with a first-class, well-respected team in the West Midlands.
