We are working with a highly successful firm of Chartered Financial Planners in the centre of Exeter. With a strong commitment to excellence and a passion for providing exceptional financial advice, the client has built a reputation for delivering outstanding results for clients. Their friendly and professional team is at the heart of their success, and they are now seeking an additional Paraplanner to join their ranks.

As a Paraplanner you will play a crucial role in supporting a team of successful Financial Advisers and ensuring their clients receive the highest level of service. You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team, working in a positive and motivating environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to support Financial Advisers in providing tailored financial solutions to clients
  • Prepare comprehensive financial plans, reports, and recommendations
  • Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and address inquiries
  • Assist in the development of client relationships and maintain regular client contact
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and changes to ensure compliance and adherence to best practices
  • Collaborate with the wider team to continuously improve processes and services
  • Provide technical support and expertise to Financial Advisers

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Paraplanner in a financial planning or wealth management firm
  • Knowledge of financial planning products, investments, and regulations
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards
  • Relevant industry qualifications, such as the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS), are advantageous.

The client is offering a basic salary to £45,000 (there may be some flexibility) + discretionary bonus and full company benefits. Our client will provide you with full support for market exams to achieve Diploma or Chartered, you will also be given first class training. The client operates a flexible/hybrid working model, they are happy to consider all options from full time in the office to 1 day a week in the office and the rest working from home.
