Paraplanner – Kettering (hybrid) 
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000+ (depending on experience)

We are working exclusively with a well-established and highly regarded financial planning firm that is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive professional to contribute to a company that provides whole-of-market advice and a high level of client service.

The Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a team of Advisers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial planning services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing discussion documents and suitability reports
  • Conducting detailed research into financial products and services to ensure the best possible advice for clients
  • Assisting in the preparation of technical paperwork for client meetings
  • Liaising with advisers, clients, and providers to ensure a smooth and efficient process
  • Keeping up to date with industry regulations and compliance requirements
  • Maintaining accurate records and company databases

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Paraplanner (essential)
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in financial planning software (experience with Intelligent Office, CashCalc, FE Analytics, Selectapension, Synaptics, or Dynamic Planner would be advantageous)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Diploma qualification in financial planning (preferred but not essential). Any advanced qualifications will be advantageous.

Benefits

  • Salary: £40,000 – £50,000+ (depending on experience)
  • Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (office-based initially, with the possibility of up to two days remote working per week once established)
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Free on-site parking
  • Auto-enrolment pension scheme (5% employee, 3% employer contributions)
  • Death in service benefit (three times salary after six months’ service)
  • Company sick pay scheme (following probation period)
