Paraplanner – Kettering (hybrid)
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000+ (depending on experience)
We are working exclusively with a well-established and highly regarded financial planning firm that is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive professional to contribute to a company that provides whole-of-market advice and a high level of client service.
The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a team of Advisers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial planning services. Key responsibilities include:
- Producing discussion documents and suitability reports
- Conducting detailed research into financial products and services to ensure the best possible advice for clients
- Assisting in the preparation of technical paperwork for client meetings
- Liaising with advisers, clients, and providers to ensure a smooth and efficient process
- Keeping up to date with industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Maintaining accurate records and company databases
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Paraplanner (essential)
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in financial planning software (experience with Intelligent Office, CashCalc, FE Analytics, Selectapension, Synaptics, or Dynamic Planner would be advantageous)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Diploma qualification in financial planning (preferred but not essential). Any advanced qualifications will be advantageous.

- Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (office-based initially, with the possibility of up to two days remote working per week once established)
