Are you a dedicated and experienced Paraplanner looking to take the next step in your career? Join our client, a leading financial advice firm and play a key role in delivering exceptional client service and advisory support. Our client is one of the UK's largest Independent Financial Advisors, with offices right across the country. As such, there will be plenty of opportunity for continued development and progression.

Location: Leicester (Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office minimum after probation)
Salary: Up to £40,000 + company benefits

About the Role

As a Paraplanner, you will provide essential support to Financial Advisers and IFA Administrators, ensuring high standards of service that are consistent, compliant, and aligned with the firm's values. You’ll contribute to the advisory process by conducting in-depth research, preparing suitability reports, and working closely with the team to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Reviewing fact finds, client risk profiles, and file notes to understand client requirements.
  • Conducting research and analysis, including fund comparisons, taxation implications, and product reviews.
  • Preparing bespoke suitability reports tailored to client needs.
  • Managing case progress through Intelligent Office and addressing any challenges proactively.
  • Ensuring compliance and supporting the Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) initiative.

What We’re Looking For

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Qualifications: Financial Planning Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Demonstrable end-to-end paraplanning experience.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of research tools such as Selectapension, FE Analytics, Voyant, and more.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and manage workloads.
  • Values: A commitment to confidentiality, compliance, and delivering exceptional client outcomes.
