This is a unique and exciting role with a City based market leading provider of consultancy and support services to the Lloyds & global insurance markets.
Our client acts as an MGA incubator and Principal, providing the necessary regulatory (FCA) permissions to each MGA client under management together with ensuring that each MGA client complies with the terms of its binding authorities on behalf of insurance capacity. Our client works in partnership with its clients to support their business and assist in achieving its objectives.
Role overview:
- The role is centred on the management and oversight of a portfolio of MGA clients, working alongside the client and Internal stakeholders, in order to ensure that the client remains compliant, provide effective support and advice to the client, enabling them to devise and embed the appropriate controls that drive professional behaviour through practical and achievable good business practices.
- The role will also focus on operational delivery including compliance, regulatory oversight and risk management. This will entail key internal stakeholder liaison to ensure:
- Client delivery is fully effective and optimised for efficiency with an appropriate suite of monitoring reports in place and actively used
- Client provisioned software is appropriately developed, deployed and maintained.
Experience required:
- Experience and expertise in the Delegated Authority market
- Extensive working knowledge of the London and International Market place
- Possess a good understanding of the DUA regulatory environment
