Our client is a highly respected, multi-faceted business offering a broad range of services across Financial Planning, Corporate Wealth, and Employee Benefits. This role sits within their growing Financial Planning division and represents an exciting opportunity to lead a talented and expanding team of Paraplanners.

About the Role

This is a managerial position focused on leading and developing a team of Paraplanners. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the delivery of efficient, high-quality support to advisers and clients, maintaining strong performance standards, and promoting a culture of excellence across the team.

While you’ll work closely with senior colleagues - including a technical lead who will handle complex technical matters, your focus will be on people management, workflow oversight, and operational effectiveness.

This hybrid role offers an excellent balance between collaborative office time and the flexibility of remote working.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a growing team of Paraplanners, conducting regular one-to-ones, appraisals, and performance reviews.
  • Manage team workflow to ensure timescales are met and a consistently high standard of service is delivered.
  • Oversee workload allocation, ensuring resources are optimised across the team.
  • Collaborate with Financial Planners and internal stakeholders to support seamless client delivery.
  • Foster a positive, high-performing culture aligned with company values and regulatory standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and service levels as the business continues to grow.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role within financial services – ideally within financial planning, paraplanning, or a related environment (pensions, investments, platforms, etc.).
  • Strong people management and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop individuals.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities.
  • Clear and confident communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with confidence leading a team through change and growth.

What’s on Offer?

  • Competitive salary up to £55,000 plus bonus
  • Hybrid working model – typically 2 days in the office per week
  • Generous holiday allowance and a comprehensive benefits package
  • The opportunity to play a key leadership role in a growing, progressive, and award-winning organisation with scope for progression.
