Financial Planning Administrator
Location: Lytham
Salary: £23,500 - £27,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Services Administrator to join a well-established and highly regarded firm of Independent Financial Advisors based in Lytham. Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing new business applications efficiently and accurately
  • Preparing client valuations and illustrations
  • Liaising with product providers and third parties to ensure seamless administration
  • Compiling pre-meeting documentation for financial advisers
  • Assisting the paraplanning team with administrative tasks
  • Providing comprehensive administrative support across the business
  • Acting as a key point of contact for paraplanners, addressing technical administrative queries
  • Managing general administrative duties and maintaining client communication

Candidate Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in an administrative role within an IFA environment
  • Strong knowledge of financial products and administrative processes
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to meet deadlines effectively
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage expectations of both colleagues and clients
  • Proficiency in using online provider platforms
  • Ideally, some progress towards Financial Planning Certificate/RO examinations (desirable but not essential)
