Financial Planner

  • Bristol
  • Permanent
  • £60,000 - £70,000 + Bonus and benefits

Job details.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Planner to join a highly respected, national wealth management firm as part of its continued expansion across the South West.

Our client is a well-established, relationship-led financial services organisation with an extensive UK presence and a longstanding reputation for delivering personalised advice to a broad range of clients. The business manages several billion pounds in client assets and is widely recognised for its client-first culture, strong retention rates and excellent reputation for service quality.

Due to significant growth and increased client demand across the South West region, the firm is investing heavily in expanding its advisory team and is now seeking a Financial Adviser to play a key role in developing this area.

The Role

This is a client‑driven Financial Planning role, providing immediate access to a well‑developed pipeline of warm opportunities and established referral networks.

The successful adviser will:

  • Provide holistic financial planning advice to both new and existing clients
  • Deliver an exceptional level of ongoing service aligned with a relationship-driven advice model
  • Work closely with internal professional partners and local offices to develop client relationships
  • Engage with a strong flow of qualified leads and referrals - ensuring a consistent pipeline of meetings
  • Convert opportunities into long-term advisory relationships
  • Identify new business opportunities to support continued regional growth
  • Contribute to the ongoing expansion of the South West operation

The incoming adviser will join a team where client introductions and internal referrals are already in place, ensuring a strong starting point with plenty of qualified leads from day one.

About You

The client is seeking an individual who combines strong technical knowledge with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

You will ideally have:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (essential)
  • Proven experience operating in a Financial Adviser / Financial Planner role
  • A strong client-centric approach and the ability to build trust quickly
  • Experience working with referrals and professional introducers
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to identify growth opportunities
  • Excellent networking and relationship-management skills

The business will also consider the right individual who is currently a:

  • Senior/Level 4 qualified Paraplanner, or
  • Trainee / Associate Financial Planner looking to step into an advisory role within a highly supportive and well-structured environment (Level 6 qualifications desirable but not essential).

What’s on Offer

  • Basic salary up to £70,000
  • Performance-related bonus structure
  • Strong lead generation and referral support
  • Established client base and ongoing opportunities
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • Long-term career development within a highly successful national firm
  • Supportive, relationship-driven culture focused on quality advice rather than volume sales

This represents a fantastic opportunity for an adviser looking for a secure, high-quality platform, a consistent flow of clients, and the chance to play a key role in expanding a rapidly growing regional operation within a highly respected wealth management practice.
