SQL / ETL Developer - Insurance - Contract
The Role
We are currently searching both both a SQL and an ETL Developer for one of our top InsurTech clients. You will develop, code, verify, test, document, modify, refactor, and implement software solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements, with a particular focus on ETL and data migration processes or SQL and reporting solutions.
Job Duties
- Design, develop, and refactor code in line with best practices and standards.
- Review and debug code to ensure quality and performance.
- Implement unit tests and system tests.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and bugs, and develop solutions to address them.
- Estimate workload based on provided acceptance criteria.
Required Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience as an ETL/SQL Developer.
- Strong focus on quality.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with design and architectural patterns.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Experience with Source Code Management.
- Active participation in work ceremonies, such as Daily Stand-ups.
Technical Skills
- Proficient with Microsoft SSIS.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI or other data visualization tools.
- Proficient with Microsoft SSRS.
