Are you looking to kickstart your career in financial planning?

Our client, a professional, multi office firm of Financial Planners, is seeking a Trainee Paraplanner to join their growing team in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to learn, develop, and thrive in a dynamic environment.

About the Role
As a Trainee Paraplanner, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial planners and paraplanners. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, suitability letters, and cash flow analysis.
  • Supporting client review processes before and after meetings.
  • Researching and analysing financial products to meet client needs.
  • Administrative duties such as new business processing, income matching, collating and providing management information and organising future planning meetings
  • Liaising with product providers and other third parties to gather necessary information.
  • Maintaining client records and ensuring all compliance standards are met.

This role offers a structured development path, helping you gain the skills and qualifications needed to advance in financial planning, specifically into a Paraplanning role, although there are some within the company who prefer the variety that this role offers, which is perfectly fine.

On Offer
Our client understands the importance of flexibility and work-life balance. While we prefer our team to be office-based, we can offer flexibility in working hours, whether part-time, full-time, or outside the traditional 9–5 schedule.

In addition to a supportive environment, they can provide:

  • Holidays: 22 days for admin roles, plus Christmas to New Year closure and bank holidays. Option to buy or sell holidays.
  • Pension: Auto-enrolment pension scheme.
  • Life Assurance: 4x salary death in service benefit.
  • Sick Pay: Company sick pay scheme.
  • Professional Development: CII membership (if desired), exam support (including costs, materials, and revision packages).
  • Health Benefits: Bupa cashback plan.
  • Financial Perks: Prepaid cashback debit card, fee-free financial health checks, and discounted ongoing review services.

About You
We are looking for individuals who are:

  • Client-focused with a “can-do” attitude.
  • Eager to learn and progress in their career.
  • Detail-oriented and efficient.
  • Committed to personal development and staying up to date with industry knowledge.

If you’re keen to develop your skills and make a meaningful contribution to a close-knit team, we’d love to hear from you!
