Up to £60,000 | Remote role with UK-wide travel (office visits every 4–6 weeks)

The opportunity

An established and growing independent financial planning firm is looking to appoint a T&C Officer to support and develop its Training & Competency function. The business currently supports over 40 Financial Planners and is continuing to grow through further acquisitions planned for 2026.

This is a remote position, with occasional travel to offices across the UK (typically once every 4–6 weeks).

The role

You will work closely with the existing T&C Manager, helping to build out and strengthen the firm’s T&C framework. The role will be adviser-facing and focused on maintaining high standards of advice quality across the business.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting new advisers and those working towards CAS
  • Delivering training and development support to advisers at different stages of their careers
  • Conducting file checks and quality reviews in line with regulatory and internal standards
  • Carrying out virtual observations, sitting in on adviser/client video meetings and providing feedback
  • Supporting advisers during acquisitions, including training on taking over existing client books
  • Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of T&C processes

Candidate profile

  • Background within financial planning (paraplanning or compliance/T&C experience preferred)
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of FCA-regulated advice
  • Comfortable in an adviser-facing role, delivering feedback, training and guidance
  • Able to work remotely while managing workload independently
  • Open to learning and development in areas where further training may be required
  • DipPFS/Level 4 qualified

Package & Benefits

  • Salary up to £60,000, depending on experience
  • Good bonus and benefits
  • Fully remote role with paid UK-wide travel

Opportunity to play a key role in a growing and evolving financial planning business

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paraplanner, compliance professional, or T&C specialist who is looking to take on a broader, more influential role within a growing financial planning business. If you enjoy working closely with advisers, value quality and development, and want to make a tangible impact as the business continues to scale, we’d love to hear from you.
