We are delighted to be supporting a highly successful and well-established boutique Independent Financial Advisory (IFA) practice based in Bradford-on-Avon. Our client is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to take on a key leadership role within the firm. This is a highly influential position, working closely with the directors to oversee day-to-day operations and support the continued growth and development of the practice.

The Role

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the practice, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the administration and support team (currently a team of five, with planned expansion).
  • Take a “player/manager” approach, remaining hands-on where required.
  • Manage workflows, compliance processes, and operational systems.
  • Implement and refine internal processes to improve efficiency and service quality.
  • Work closely with advisers and senior management to support business strategy and growth.
  • Act as a key point of contact for operational, HR, and office management matters.

About You

  • Proven experience within an IFA, Financial Planning, or Wealth Management environment.
  • Previous experience in a Practice Manager, Operations Manager, or Senior Administration role.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Solid understanding of financial planning operations and regulatory requirements.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and commercially aware.
