Our client has its own in-house Discretionary Fund Management (DFM), they offer a unique and integrated approach to financial planning and investment management.
Role: Paraplanner
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with our Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) to provide comprehensive support in the preparation of financial plans and recommendations.
- Conduct detailed research and analysis on various financial products, including pensions, investments, and protection plans.
- Prepare detailed and accurate reports, financial plans, and suitability letters tailored to individual client needs and objectives.
- Ensure all client recommendations and documentation comply with industry regulations and internal standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial products, market trends, and regulatory changes.
- Assist in client meetings, where necessary, to provide technical support and help explain complex financial concepts.
- Liaise with clients, product providers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth implementation of financial plans.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of paraplanning processes and systems.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA environment, with a strong understanding of financial planning and investment management.
- Experience working with HNW clients is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using financial planning software and CRM systems.
- Relevant financial services qualifications (e.g., Diploma in Financial Planning, CII, CISI) are essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
