Responsibilities:
- Drive day-to-day capture of geographical and financial data for the Syndicate's portfolio.
- Collaborate closely with underwriting teams for accurate aggregate and modelling data collection.
- Classify and assign written risks based on territory and complexity.
- Ensure seamless upload of binder data to the outsourcing partner.
- Champion quality control for outsourced binder data with effective communication.
- Contribute to the development of the Data Dictionary for enhanced efficiency.
- Proactively produce pre-underwriting model analysis reports.
- Craft engaging written risk analysis reports.
- Analyse changes in modelled results and provide clear explanations.
- Take charge of data analysis to uncover valuable insights.
- Track and report on portfolios monthly and quarterly.
- Conduct data validations to uphold the highest data quality standards.
- Collaborate with Exposure Management to implement new underwriting classes.
- Play a role in producing ad hoc reports as needed.
- Streamline workflow through the integration of new technologies.
- Foster regular interaction with all teams within the Agency.
Requirements:
- Degree or strong A levels, preferably in a numerate or geographical subject area.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel for efficient data management.
- Strong planning abilities to meet deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for clear and accurate written correspondence.
