We are currently working in partnership with a highly respected, independent firm of Chartered Financial Planners to recruit an experienced Paraplanner.
This is an excellent opportunity for a career paraplanner who enjoys the technical side of financial planning and takes pride in producing high-quality, detailed work. This position is suited to someone who wants to continue developing as a technical specialist within a supportive, professional environment.

The Opportunity
Due to an internal promotion, they are seeking a technically strong Paraplanner to act as a key resource within the business. You will work closely with advisers and the wider team, supporting complex cases and helping maintain exceptional standards of advice across the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing high-level paraplanning support to advisers
- Producing detailed and accurate suitability reports
- Conducting complex technical research and analysis
- Preparing tax calculations (IHT, CGT, Annual Allowance, etc.)
- Reviewing files for complex and higher-risk cases
- Preparing client valuations and investment analysis
About You:
- Diploma-qualified as a minimum (Chartered progression supported)
- Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, taxation and estate planning
- Experience working within an independent financial planning environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- A Pension Transfer Specialist qualification (G60, AF3 or AF7) would be advantageous but is not essential.
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8:45am – 5:00pm
Friday: 8:45am – 12:45pm
