Financial Planning Administrator
Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per annum + benefits
Location: Wolverhampton
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm (early finish on Fridays)
Work Pattern: Office-based
A well-established and highly regarded financial services firm in Wolverhampton is recruiting a Financial Planning Administrator to support Financial Advisers and Paraplanners within a busy, professional office environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator or financial services professional looking to develop their career in financial planning and wealth management.
Key Responsibilities

Managing client appointments, confirmations and pre-meeting documentation

Handling inbound client calls and accurately logging activity on CRM systems

Preparing client meeting packs, reports and valuation documents

Maintaining accurate client records in line with FCA and GDPR requirements

Producing client correspondence including post-review letters

Liaising with external providers to obtain and chase information

Processing post-meeting actions such as fund switches, rebalances and withdrawals

Supporting advisers and paraplanners to ensure meetings are fully prepared

Managing inboxes efficiently and professionally

Welcoming clients for on-site meetings
Skills & Experience Required
Essential:

Previous administrative experience (financial services preferred)

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines

Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems

Professional, client-focused approach
Desirable:

Experience in financial planning, wealth management or IFA environment

Knowledge of pensions, investments and protection products

Understanding of FCA regulations

Salesforce experience
