Administrator – Financial Planning - Graduate/ Entry Level

Altrincham | Office-Based | £24,000 to £26,000 plus benefits

We are working with a highly respected firm of Chartered Financial Planners based in Altrincham who are looking to recruit an Administrator to join their team.

This is an entry-level opportunity, ideal for a graduate or someone at the early stages of their career who has a demonstrated interest in financial services and some form of office-based work experience. No prior IFA administration experience is required, as full training and development will be provided.

The Role

You will support experienced Financial Planning Administrators and play an important part in ensuring client reviews and internal processes run smoothly. This role offers an excellent introduction to the financial planning profession within a professional and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing client valuations

  • Preparing documentation ahead of client meetings

  • Checking compliance documentation for accuracy and completeness

  • Reviewing file notes to ensure records are up to date

  • Updating client records and systems

  • Providing general administrative support to the wider team

About You

This role would suit someone who:

  • Has a genuine interest in financial services and financial planning

  • Has gained some office-based work experience, such as administration, placement year, internship, or similar

  • Is highly organised with strong attention to detail

  • Is confident using IT systems and managing data

  • Can prioritise tasks and work to deadlines

  • Enjoys working as part of a team and is keen to learn

Some exposure to financial services or related studies would be beneficial but is not essential.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary of £24,000 to £26,000 depending on experience
