Our client is a well-established and highly regarded financial planning firm that has experienced significant growth in recent years. Through a combination of strategic expansion and a strong commitment to client outcomes, they have built a reputation for delivering high-quality, tailored advice. With continued growth plans in place, they are now looking to strengthen their technical team by adding an experienced Paraplanner to their Bath office.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking business that genuinely invests in its people. You will be part of a collaborative and professional environment where technical excellence is valued, and career progression is actively supported.

The Role:
Working closely with Financial Advisers, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of holistic financial planning advice. This position offers a broad range of responsibilities and the opportunity to further develop your technical expertise across multiple areas of financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing high-quality suitability reports and supporting documentation
  • Conducting detailed research to identify suitable financial planning solutions
  • Providing technical support to advisers across pensions, investments, trusts, and IHT planning
  • Preparing client review documentation, including investment and pension analysis
  • Undertaking cashflow modelling and supporting client strategy discussions
  • Performing technical calculations including CGT, pension benefits, and bond withdrawals
  • Ensuring all client work is compliant with FCA requirements and internal standards
  • Collaborating with advisers to fully understand client objectives and deliver appropriate recommendations

About You:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or actively working towards)
  • Experience within a paraplanning role, supporting financial advisers
  • Strong report writing and technical analysis skills
  • Good understanding of financial planning processes and regulatory requirements
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive and team-oriented approach

What’s on Offer:

  • Salary circa £40,000 depending on experience
  • Bonus potential of up to 10%
  • Hybrid working (2 days in the office)
  • Full support with professional qualifications and ongoing development
  • Clear progression opportunities within a growing and successful firm
  • A supportive, collaborative working culture

If you are looking to join a progressive firm where you can continue to develop your paraplanning career and take on more technical responsibility, this opportunity is well worth exploring.
