Paraplanner – £37,000 + Benefits
Fully Remote (Anywhere in the UK)

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a well-established, fully independent financial planning firm. This is a fully home-based position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK. The role involves providing high-quality analytical and technical support to advisers across a full range of financial planning areas.

The Role

As a Paraplanner, you will be responsible for supporting advisers in preparing and delivering compliant, well-researched financial planning recommendations. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and maintaining compliant client files, ensuring all necessary KYC and supporting documentation is complete.
• Gathering and analysing detailed client information.
• Researching whole-of-market solutions to identify suitable products and investments.
• Preparing draft suitability reports, product and fund comparisons, and supporting technical documents.
• Handling more complex or technical cases requiring deeper analysis.
• Assisting advisers with product, fund and process-related queries.
• Using tools such as O&M Profiler, MiCAP and Cashcalc.
• Completing quality checks on your own work and participating in peer review within the team.

You will join a well-structured paraplanning team supported by administration, junior paraplanners, senior paraplanners and a Head of Paraplanning.

About You

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• A Level 4 Diploma or Certificate in Paraplanning as a minimum.
• Previous paraplanning experience, ideally within an IFA environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of financial planning, products and platforms.
• Excellent analytical, research and report writing skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to challenge advice appropriately while maintaining strong working relationships.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary of £37,026 for Level 4-qualified Paraplanners.
• 20 days holiday plus office closure over Christmas (an additional 3 days).
• Pension contribution of 8 percent.
• 2x Death in Service.
• Optional Private Medical Insurance.
• Fully remote working or office based if preferred.

This role is fully remote and open to candidates based anywhere in the UK.
